It is a talking-based therapy that supports individuals and couples in exploring their lives, sexual concerns, and preferences, with the aim of resolving specific sexual or intimacy-related problems.<\/p><p data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"1017\">It is widely recognised that the body and mind are closely connected, and psychosexual therapy works with this relationship. When someone is physically healthy but their sex life feels unsatisfying\u2014such as experiencing sexual dysfunction, low sexual desire or arousal, or a lack of intimacy\u2014we explore possible mind\u2013body factors that may be contributing to these difficulties.
